I decided to do another project from my Denyse Schmidt Quilt-It Kit...I picked up some vinyl at Wal-Mart and got to sewing this mid-morning. The project was fun and went quite fast. I think this bag will be nice to use when I head to the twin cities in 2 weekends!
This was my first time sewing with vinyl and was pretty fun! I like the fact that vinyl doesn't fray, so you can have some raw edges here and there.
Since I have some left over vinyl I might try some other hand bags!

I love it!! I haven't had much luck sewing with vinyl, but that was on an old sewing machine, I might have to try it again! I really like the pattern of this bag, and the handles are too cute! I am planning a trip wiht some girlfriends to Minneapolis the weekend of the 17th...is that when you are going? Weird!!
